Team Mango is the brainchild of amateur games developer Gareth Williams. The team began its story when a group of teenage Amiga enthusiasts came together to create games using Amos and Blitz Basic. The team released a couple of small games including Gloss Finish and Psychoblast, but many more were lost in time including a commercial title Skimmers and another small game, GravSheep.
Team Mango was revived in 2009 to create games using Microsoft's XNA framework, releasing on Xbox Live Indie Games. Gareth released one game, a remake of Team Mango's Amiga game GravSheep to the Indie Games service. Shortly thereafter, Leon Arellano joined the Team to create Dysnomia.
Dysnomia was a personal and critical success story. It was a top-twenty finalist in Microsoft's Dream Build Play competition in 2010. The trial version of Dysnomia has been downloaded by tens of thousands of Xbox Live gamers around the world.
In late 2010, Team Mango branched out to create games for Windows Phone and Windows PC, and we continue to create the games that we want to play for all three platforms.
